Our Malbec comes from our 56-acre Estate West vineyard located on a contiguous piece of property just across Chalk Hill road from the winery. These west-facing sites feature clay, rock, and loam soils that are perfect for Malbec. Of all the Bordeaux varieties, Malbec is surely the most generous and hedonistic.

Tasting Notes
This wine is big, bold, and dense, packing abundant savory characters into the bouquet and palate. The first swirl of the glass reveals barrel spice, cigar box, leather, black cherry, and black raspberry. Rich layers of dark chocolate, mocha, and black tea coupled with soft acidity meld seamlessly, lingering long beyond the last sip.
